A Bump On The Road
Sometimes in life, we all experience a few bumps on our way. Bumps are typically built on roads with cautionary motives that ultimately slow us down for our own good. Well for me, I recently experienced one of life's bumps and I am very grateful.
My husband and I have been blessed to share love, joy, struggles and challenges for 10 years. We quietly celebrated together this past April and we are very grateful. We are also grateful for the bump we experienced in form of a second baby after six years. We don't take this for granted.
As you would imagine, I needed to spend some time resting. I really had to take things super easy as my body adjusted to its new position and status, wink, wink! I chose to embrace my bump as a fresh opportunity to be an excellent mom, giver and nurturer.
I'd like to encourage you to think about the bumps you may have experienced in your own life. Consider making the best of it and of course slow down if you must.
