Afro Countess: The Style of a Noble Woman

A Countess

"A woman holding the title of count or earl.  Used as a title for such a noblewoman." Farlex dictionary

When I style myself, I plan and prepare with a motive and goal in mind. One that comes to the very top of my list is "Inspiring other women to feel comfortable and beautiful in their own skin, shape and body." I think it's such a gift that GOD chose me to be a woman.  I also think I should make the world my personal runway and tell my story, my own way.

The Dress

Today, I've styled this gorgeous dress made for me by Attollé Clothiers.  As the brand ambassador for Attollé Clothiers the brand counts on me to convey its "modern take on classic elegance" message.

In putting this look together, I chose a pair of nude/neutral shoes to highlight my fitted dress.  I paired my dress and shoes with a multi-layered string of pearls. I also chose a glamorous look for my hair to help strengthen my very feminine message. I finished this look with a structured bag from the legendary Ralph Lauren.

My brand collaboration with Attollé Clothiers has been a hit, as each piece is inspired by my personal style yet very reflective of the brand's strength.

The Countess Dress will be available February 28, 2014 on the Attollé Clothiers website.  Be sure to order yours soon!
